How to get a sample tested
The process takes four steps, and you never have to give us your name.
1. Request a code
Fill out a short form. We don't ask for your legal name, and email is optional. You'll get a sample code and our mailing address. The code is the only thing linking you to your result.
2. Mail your sample
Put about 0.5 mL of liquid or 50 mg of powder in any small, clean, sealable vial. Amber glass is ideal. Seal it in a padded envelope, add enough postage for a small parcel, and drop it in any mailbox. You don't need to include a return address.
3. We test it
We use HPLC-UV to measure how much active ingredient is in the sample and check it against a reference standard for what the label claims. A second volunteer checks every result. Samples are labeled only with their code.
4. Get your result
Your result is posted to a private page that only your sample code can open. You can read the plain-language summary or download the chromatogram and certificate of analysis (COA).
What we keep and what we delete
The best way to protect your data is not to collect it, so we keep as little as possible. Read the full details.
