Privacy

The best way to protect your data is not to collect it. This page lists exactly what we keep and what we don't.

What we keep

  • The sample code you receive when you submit.
  • The test results and chromatogram.
  • Your notification address, only if you gave us one. We delete it after we send your result.
  • Overall counts for reporting, such as samples per month and compounds tested.

What we never ask for

  • Your legal name
  • Your home address
  • Your date of birth
  • Your prescriber or pharmacy
  • Any medical history

Shipping labels

  • You don't have to include a return address. If you do, we keep it only until the sample arrives.
  • We don't scan, photograph or store envelopes.
  • Labels are shredded within 7 days of arrival.

Who can access what

  • Two volunteers have access to the results system.
  • The lab only ever sees the sample code, never contact details.
  • Backups are encrypted and replaced every 90 days.
  • No third-party analytics, no trackers, and no cookies beyond what the site needs to work.

Legal requests

  • If we're legally required to share information, we can only share what we have.
  • We deliberately keep very little.
  • We publish a warrant canary every quarter.
